KEYOU, the pioneer of CO2-free hydrogen mobility, continues to expand its partner network. For its "H2 Mobility as a Service" (H2MaaS) solution, the Munich-based hydrogen expert is now cooperating with Pneuhage Fleet Solution, a fleet management specialist for all aspects of tire management. As a result, KEYOU customers now also benefit from a Europe-wide 24-hour breakdown service as part of the all-round carefree package.
With its extensive network of tire service stations, Pneuhage Fleet Solution offers comprehensive fleet management tailored to the needs of nationwide truck operators. Thanks to the partnership, KEYOU customers can now benefit from the company's 24-hour roadside assistance service. In the event of a breakdown, the company's dense network of branches and the extensive PNEUNET partner network guarantee fast and uncomplicated on-site assistance. The partnership will enable KEYOU to offer an even more comprehensive service as part of its H2MaaS model.
Driving the market ramp-up for hydrogen mobility with H2 Mobility as a Service
KEYOU's vision is to bring commercial vehicles with CO2-free hydrogen engines to market at competitive conditions and thus decarbonize road freight transport in the long term. In order to provide its customers with an easy, predictable and risk-free transition to the new drive technology and to independently drive the market ramp-up for hydrogen mobility in the commercial vehicle segment, the company is focusing on an all-around carefree mobility solution for fleet operators. In addition to the toll exempt vehicle with zero-emission hydrogen engine, this includes full insurance coverage, a comprehensive service and maintenance package, the fuel itself and, with the new partnership, a 24-hour breakdown service from Pneuhage Fleet Solution. Customers pay an agreed price per kilometer based on annual mileage, which includes all services.
"We are pleased to be able to contribute to a successful mobility transition through our partnership with KEYOU," says Alessandro Fante, Key Account Manager at Pneuhage Fleet Solutions. "KEYOU's H2MaaS approach hits the nerve of our fast-moving world, where all processes need to be seamless. Our expertise in sustainable tire solutions and our nationwide network with mobile service ideally complement this offering. With this agreement, we are paving the way for further joint development," Fante adds.
Joining forces for a greener future of mobility
Strong networks and partnerships are essential to quickly and sustainably establish hydrogen mobility in the commercial vehicle segment. An attractive and competitive infrastructure that fleet operators can rely on can only be built together.
"With Pneuhage, we are gaining another strong partner with a broad network and extensive expertise in its field. We are pleased to see our partner network constantly growing and how we can continuously expand and improve our offering," says Markus Schneider, COO at KEYOU. "Pneuhage was our partner of choice from the very beginning for the expansion of our H2MaaS solution," Schneider continues.
Sustainable freight transportation: 40-ton truck with CO2-free hydrogen engine from KEYOU in the pipeline
KEYOU is about to enter the market with the delivery of its first 18-ton pioneer vehicles to pilot customers this year. The company wants to use this as a proof of concept for its solution and prepare the market for further scaling. The hydrogen experts are also working on adapting the KEYOU-inside system to a 40-ton semi-trailer truck. The company's goal is to focus on this segment in the coming years and to rent out the first 40-ton trucks with CO2-neutral hydrogen engines to customers as part of the H2MaaS model in early 2026.
