(Senior) Sales Manager (m/w/d)

We are looking for a committed and experienced (Senior) Sales Manager (f/m/x) who enjoys growing with us and actively shaping the mobility sector with our hydrogen technology. The growth of our sales team offers attractive career opportunities for this position.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You acquire fleet operators, logistics providers and freight forwarders as new customers for our toll-exempt, zero-CO₂ trucks featuring a KEYOU-inside hydrogen engine, and you develop lighthouse projects in selected H₂ pilot regions.
  • You identify strategic key accounts and take operational responsibility for selling our “Hydrogen as a Service” model.
  • Together with our CCO, you actively develop regional go-to-market strategies, contribute to the conceptual advancement of our current sales strategy, and execute it consistently and at scale.
  • You help transition pilot projects into scalable rollouts, making a significant contribution to achieving our growth targets.
  • You conduct TCO, market and competitive analyses, identify new business opportunities, and derive concrete sales actions from them.
  • You work closely with Business Development, Product Management, Marketing and After Sales to develop holistic, customer-centric solutions.
  • You represent KEYOU at trade fairs, customer events and industry conferences, and systematically expand our network in political and industry association environments.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have solid sales experience in the commercial vehicle and/or logistics sector, understand its market dynamics, and ideally have a strong network of fleet operators and freight forwarding companies.
  • You have successfully completed vocational training in a commercial field, a degree in business administration, or a comparable qualification.
  • You are willing to travel extensively, occasionally within Europe.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and stand out through strong customer focus, confident negotiation skills, a proven ability to close, and strong stakeholder management.
  • You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner—even in dynamic and rapidly changing environments.
  • You combine strategic thinking with a strong hands-on mentality.
  • You are confident working with ERP and CRM systems and use digital tools to make data-driven decisions and forecasts.
  • You are highly proficient in German and English, both written and spoken.

KEYOU is a successful high-tech company from the Clean Mobility sector that develops innovative hydrogen technologies, specific H2 components and combustion processes for engine and vehicle manufacturers, with the help of which conventional engines can be transformed cost-efficiently into emission-free hydrogen engines - without major modifications to the basic engine.The new "green" combustion engine with KEYOU-inside technology means zero emissions, efficiency and economy at the same time - without compromising on performance, capacity or range. Vehicles with corresponding engines are considered zero emission vehicles according to the current EU standard. The technology is engine- and manufacturer-independent, scalable and can be used both onroad and offroad. Currently, the focus is on commercial vehicle engines.
